UAE’s education minister announces to develop an AI tutor for students

UAE’s education minister, Ahmed Belhoul AI Falasi, announces to develop and launch of an AI tutor for students to enhance learning and education. He announced this during the World Government Summit held in Dubai from February 13th to 15th.

According to the announcement, the ministry will closely work with organizations like OpenAI, Microsoft, and other tech firms to develop and launch the new technological enhancement. As per the ministry, the latest technology will make learning more interactive for students and improve subject understanding.

The ministry will thoroughly review the education system from curriculum to delivery and assessment to chart a map for embedding AI tools across the board. As part of the review, the ministry will work on the different patterns to develop an AI-enabled tutor.

Ahmed Belhoul AI Falasi stated that the new technology would enhance students’ learning experience in Dubai. The ministry and its partners will work together to develop educational tools to provide students with personal support and resources. The new-age tutor will improve students’ understanding and offer instant feedback and guidance to make learning engaging and interactive.
