With the creation of an AI accelerator to support startups operating in the industry, Amazon has now made a foray into the rapidly expanding generative artificial intelligence (AI) market.
For 10 Generative AI businesses that can show early momentum, Amazon Web Services (AWS) will offer a global programme called the “Generative AI Accelerator.“
To aid in the development of their AI services and solutions, chosen firms will get up to $300,000 in AWS credits. Ten companies will be selected from the applications that are accepted for the following two weeks, the company said.

To demonstrate the development and progress of its AI accelerator, the company has scheduled a kick-off event in the San Francisco Bay Area in the US on May 24 and 25, and a Demo day on July 26 and 27.
In an effort to increase awareness of your business, the startups will pitch to the Generative AI community, which includes investors, customers, and press media, when the 10-week programme is over, said Amazon.
The market for generative AI is now dominated by ChatGPT created by Microsoft-owned OpenAI and Bing Search with AI, despite Google’s efforts to disrupt the market with Bard.
