A Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Generative Artificial Intelligence has been established by private sector general insurance provider HDFC Ergo General Insurance. The CoE seeks to implement generative AI-based solutions to provide highly customized client experiences.

According to the corporation, HDFC Ergo has been using technology as a “digital first” organisation to democratise insurance and provide customer-focused services. The partnership with Google Cloud will guarantee that its developers are using generative AI in an ethical and responsible manner.
The CoE’s goals include creating new goods and services, enhancing current workflows, reducing costs, and promoting the development of a workforce equipped for the future through opportunities for training and upskilling in generative AI technologies.

Their dedication to implementing cutting-edge technology in order to deliver better services and research new customer groups is strengthened by this partnership, said the company.
