Hugging Face, an AI start-up, has unveiled HuggingChat, an open-sourced chatbot with 30 billion parameters. According to rumors, the most recent Hugging Face product was created to rival ChatGPT.
HuggingChat was created by the Large-scale Artificial Intelligence Open Network (LAION), a German nonprofit organization, as part of their Open Assistant initiative. The new chatbot, according to its creators, intends to be a “versatile, customizable, and efficient assistant accessible to all.”
ChatGPT‘s interface is very similar to that of HuggingChat. But it has a straightforward homepage with just the name and the brief statement, “Making the best open-source AI chat models available to everyone.” HuggingChat displays prompt history, Theme, Feedback, and About & Privacy on the left panel, same like ChatGPT does.

Through the web interface, HuggingChat is currently testable, and the Hugging Face API allows for integration with already-existing programmes and services. HuggingChat has the ability to create code, emails, and even rap. Based on OpenAssistant LLaMa 30B SFT 6, the current model was created. Additionally, the chatbot cautions users that “generated content may be inaccurate or false.”
Stability AI, the company behind the Stable Diffusion picture generator, debuted their big language model, called Stability LM, last week. The alpha version of Stable LM is an open-source model with 3 billion and 7 billion parameters. According to reports, the most recent model will be followed in the future by 15 billion, 30 billion, 65 billion, and 175 billion models.
