It will be the IT company’s largest personnel expansion effort ever as Happiest Mind Technologies plans to add 1,300 more employees to its current 5,000-person workforce. In order to support the company’s endeavor to create custom artificial intelligence bots, the biggest personnel expansion will see the hiring of over 1000 software developers.
Joseph Anantharaju, a co-founder of Happiest Minds Technologies Ltd, stated in an interview that the company is expanding its artificial intelligence business to serve customers in industries like education and healthcare who want to take advantage of the emerging technology. According to the sources, Microsoft Corporation, a supporter of OpenAI, and Happiest Minds Technologies are in discussions for a cooperation to improve access to ChatGPT.
Anantharaju stated in the interview that Happiest Minds wants to get a competitive advantage over its rivals in the information technology sector. Anantharaju said, “Clients want to make the best use of ChatGPT. We have begun showing our clients these add-on features.”

Happiest Minds Technologies makes revenue by assisting businesses in digitizing their services; just a small amount of their sales revenue comes from AI. Ananatharaju claims that despite this, it is still the12-year-old company’s one of the fastest-growing areas.
Ashok Soota, a pioneer in the tech sector who has run three outsourcing businesses, was a co-founder of Happiest Minds. Since its first public offering in September 2020, the shares have increased by more than five times.
