The Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT) in Gandhinagar has researchers that have successfully developed AI models for translating Hindi and Chinese literature into Gujarati and vice versa. The DAIICT received Rs. 2 crore as part of the National Translation Mission (NTM) of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to create algorithms for the Gujarati language.
